Seiko Presage ‘Purple Sunset’ Cocktail Time Limited Edition SRPK75J1

This timepiece is named 'Purple Sunset' mixed by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender of Star Bar in Tokyo’s Ginza area.

Traditionally in Japan ‘Nomunication hour’ – a hybrid of nomu (drink) and communication, is after 5pm – when it’s cocktail hour and time to talk things over. The Seiko Presage Cocktail Time collection was inspired by this Japanese custom – with each timepiece named after drinks mixed by Hisashi Kishi, head bartender of Star Bar in Tokyo’s Ginza area.

Hisashi Kishi has created a menu of Seiko-inspired original cocktails under the theme of ‘Tokyo Magic Hour’ adding interesting sips to his already-extensive repertoire. One of which is the ‘Purple Sunset’ – Purple at the top of the glass and orange at the bottom, the subtle deep gradation is designed to look like the late embers of the sun setting over Tokyo skies.

With Dauphine-style hands and a date feature at 3 o’clock, this elegant Presage timepiece comes with a brown calf leather strap.
